Oh, look, I can load my blog today! For the first time in almost a week! It must be because I'm away from home, visiting my sister 400 miles away, but using my same laptop. So if the problem isn't my laptop, it may be my service provider at home--unless it's Google itself.

Anyway, this was supposed to be an Easter Monday post, except that I couldn't post on Easter Monday, when I was still at home! I love this painting, but I don't know the artist. Does anyone? I think there might be a signature on the painting, in the grass just above the figure's ass, but I can't make it out.

UPDATE, May 3: Loran has correctly identified the artist as Paul Patterson. Now I can search online for more of the talented Mr. Patterson's work.
